How Consignment Works
Thinking of reselling your secondhand branded bags? With LUX.R Singapore, selling your used luxury handbags is effortless and fuss-free. Follow these 3 simple steps to start consigning your designer pieces online.
Step 1: Drop us a Whatsapp with pictures of your items
To facilitate our preliminary assessment, kindly include the following information of your items:
Model Name
Color
Material
Size (W x H x D)
Condition (i.e. Brand new, Unused, Slightly used, Heavily used)
Accessories (e.g. Dust bag, Authenticity card, Box, etc.)
Serial Number / Date Code / Date Stamp
Any other information we should know about
Thereafter, an indicative price range will be provided via Whatsapp for your consideration. Please note that this quotation may differ slightly from the final price range provided after Step 2.
Step 2: Make an appraisal appointment
Every luxury item consigned to LUX.R will go through a stringent in-house appraisal before we put them up for sale. You may opt for either of the following ways (free of charge!) to get your luxury bags / items to us:
In-shop – Visit our shop located at Far East Plaza Singapore for a private 1-on-1 appointment.
Home-visit – An appraiser will be assigned to visit you in the comfort of your home. *Meeting at the lobby, void deck, and condominium function rooms are possible too.
If your item is accepted for consignment, a final price range will be provided. This will be the price on which our commission is calculated once your item has been sold.
Step 3: Sit back & relax!
Relax as the LUX.R team works to help you sell your designer handbags through our multitude of online and offline channels. The default consignment period at LUX.R is 3 months. If your item remains unsold after this period, you can either continue to leave your items with us or opt to retrieve your items from us.
You will be notified once your item has been sold, and the nett sale proceeds after commission will be processed within 3 working days via bank transfer.
Our Consignment Rates
At LUX.R, we offer our clientele the best services and the most transparent rates available in the Singapore consignment market. We charge a flat 5% fee on all Hermès Birkin and Kelly bags sold through us, as well as a flat 10% fee on all other designer brands / luxury items such as wallets, jewelries and accessories
